From what I understand, most cannot until they can get their hands on drawings, schematics, etc.

It would be best if the aircraft is allowed to come into existence (and that will take several years) before an addon is made. Boeing haven't presented any substantial details about the aircraft yet, and they probably don't even know themselves how the end product will turn out.- Oyvind
