First landing - impression

Holy crap. All I could say after landing the bird... I even called up my girlfriend to show her. Too bad systems didn't replay... but at least the aircraft did, without flaps and all... Been tweaking FSX and NGX for the last 2 days, playing around with it. But no landing. Today did my standard quickflight from LOWS -> LOWW. 30min or so flight. Given, I didn't start from cold&dark, that is the next step, but did a complete flight. How some come have problems with landing is a mystery to me. I did everything as I learned from old NG and iFly, what I learned through forums and all, I don't like manuals -> I KNOW, RTFM!But I do when something goes wrong. Full CATIII landing RWY11 LOWW, with HGS. B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!!!!I had one of, or maybe even the most perfect landing EVER. That was so smooth, so perfect, I was literally getting goosebumps after landing...Of course, flew completely manual, A/T was only controlling up to about DME2.0. I did let the aircraft set itself up on the LOC and G/S.VNAV was great. If you program the FMC to do it as per charts, and do everything on time, there are no problems whatsoever. And again, that HGS... landing with it is just so perverse. You don't even have to know what you are doing, it's basically telling you "fly there"... totally sick. And WAY too easy!Next time flying without it! LOL.gifLooking at the aircraft in the external, I couldn't believe I was even correcting it to the slight crosswind, usually before I could notice small changes, now they were so precise, I couldn't even notice. This aircraft is by far worth its money. Quality superb. Systems et al are next! Hypnotized.gif
