Big glitch found in Failure System after saving and reloading a flight

Featured Replies

Hello,I few days ago I was having problems with the brakes, they weren't working anymore after a replay in FS Recorder. That's obvious because actually a double landing is being made, and because of that the brakes will overheat and fail. To solve this I just go to the Failure section in the FMC and clear the failures, problem solved. But now this:Today I did a flight from EHRD to LCLK. This time I didn't watch the replay instantly after landing, but when I totally shut down the aircraft at the gate. But this time, I forgot to clear the brake failures in the FMC. I saved the flight, and a couple of hours later I reloaded the flight again for another flight. I noticed that the brake failure wasn't there anymore, I noticed this because I was braking and there was normal response. But when I took a look in the FMC the failure was still there! But the brakes for functionating normally. So what I did, I cleared the braking failure again so there were no failures anymore, but now the brakes suddenly weren't working anymore, after clearing the braking failures! So that means I will have to have a braking failure for the brakes to be working. This basicly means that after a flight is saved and reloaded again, the actual failure has been cleared, but the failure is not being cleared in the FMC. This is very big glitch in my opinion and should be fixed as soon as possible.Maybe this problem only occurs with the brakes, but I'm not sure.Maybe when you have battery failure and you save the flight and load it back up again, that the actaul battery failure has been cleared, but it's still registered in the FMC. So when you clear it in the FMC, that means the battery is gonna fail when the failure has been cleared. I know this is all very complicated, and I hope you understand his PMDG. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Although I doubt that...Thanks in advance, please reply,Arjen Vandervelde
