Are any gauges missing?

Featured Replies

Although Im impressed with the ngx, I have to agree about the fps hit. After using other pmdg products, and especially the md 11, it came as a surprise to find Im back in time about 3 years, stuttering wise. please dont patronise me with advise about tweaks and limiters etc, Im an old hand at this. Anyway i suspect there is a small flaw with the finished product, lowering its performance. Its affecting some more than others, and its unfortunate. We will get there though, with the help of the support team, who work so hard to get things right. I have worked it so its flyable now, but have one query. Im not really up on gauges, but i checked the sim for erroneous gauges and missing gauges, and found the following statements from flusifix 06. e:\microsoft flight simulator x\simobjects\airplanes\pmdg 737-800ngx\panel\panel.cfg[VCOCKPIT02]gauge01=hud!pmdg_737_ng , 0,0,1,1 //Missing gauge: pmdg_737_ng.xml (in the folder e:\microsoft flight simulator x\simobjects\airplanes\pmdg 737-800ngx\panel\hud\) and PMDG_737NGX_2.dll as being faulty It may well be just a part of the way pmdg are using and switching gauges, but i dont know. I reinstalled the ngx 3 times and the same happened. it may all be a red herring but i thought it may help. By the way you should get flusifix06, its a great tool for editing your fsx.cfg and some fancy tricks like speeding up taxing, slowing down airport ground traffic etc. Above all it corrects the strobes on ai so they dont all flash in sinc, luverly jubberly. and its free too. lloyd jones http://www.wolfgang-picheta.de/ authors website.
