FS2004 Mixture Control

Featured Replies

I am using CH Products USB yoke with FS2004, Win2K pro. When flying any of the aircraft which normally have mixture control, i.e. C182S and others, the mixture control on the yoke does not work. I have disabled automixture and the mixture control calibrates normally in FS as well as in the CH calibration program. The mixture can be controlled with the mouse without problem.Any suggestions? .

Look under the Options > Assignments menu to insure that the axes are assigned properly. I seem to recall that the default assignments tend to assign the rudder function to the mixture knob.If you find it easier to edit the config file, then here is what my axis assignments section looks like. Yours should probably look the same or similar.AXIS_EVENT_00=AXIS_AILERONS_SETAXIS_SCALE_00=64AXIS_NULL_00=36AXIS_EVENT_01=AXIS_ELEVATOR_SETAXIS_SCALE_01=64AXIS_NULL_01=36AXIS_EVENT_02=AXIS_THROTTLE_SETAXIS_SCALE_02=127AXIS_NULL_02=1AXIS_EVENT_04=AXIS_MIXTURE_SETAXIS_SCALE_04=127AXIS_NULL_04=1AXIS_EVENT_05=AXIS_PROPELLER_SETAXIS_SCALE_05=127AXIS_NULL_05=1I hope that this helps.
