see some people have kept up on the subject of this AUTOGEN problem.I see a poster tonite with a 'top end ' system with a sttuter problem. My views are that this prob hits at random and I believe everyone on these forums when they say my system works great and always did and I only have a medium system and I believe the top enders who have no problems and I believe the top enders with problems. That said, I tried most tweaks and in every case was..oh boy, I got it..look what I was missing, now I know what "they..the lucky ones are seeing"..but after one flight.maybe two flights..same problems.Take off with sliders 60%..nice and fluid..odd sttutter.OK straight and level 35-45fps.Smooth, panning, great..on decent...fps decreases..major sttutter at 3000-500ft,very rare did I have a smooth, smooth landing. the 10-12 fpser's were GREAT and that is shuttin down at the terminal. Love it, but in some situations there have been lockups. And you know what...judging from the different simmers, from high end systems, to the successful ones with medium systems that have commented on "what to do" to enhance, I bet not one could gaurentee that doubel the ram or a new video card 'might solve the problem'I tried the tweaks, reformatting, defraggin, compressing FS9 folder that is, and etc. I tried Chris Wills filess and found they were the best tweak so far.And my hat out to you, Chris and others who have discovered the autogen problem and are looking for solutionsGood luck and thanks for the informaion.MBWZA
