FS2000 attitude indicator failure

Featured Replies

Hello People.I hope somebody is still using FS2000 here. For later versions my computer is just too slow i think. There is one thing that makes me weird about the attitude indicator on some panels.i.e.:I have a beautiful panam 747-200, but for the panel i downloaded, there were some gauges missing, including the attitude. so i just use the one from the concorde. that works fine most of the time. but sometimes it fails.I found out that this effect allways shows, when turning off the engines of a prop-aircraft (Extra, Mooney Bravo, Beaver). turning engines on brings it back again. So if you sit in a Beaver, turn engine on and switch to the 747,it's right.Go back to the Beaver, turn engine off and switch to 747, it's wrong. And there is no way to get it working without leaving the Beaver with engine running.I wonder what pilot is so crazy, leaving his beaver on a hawaiian beach with running engine while sitting in a 747 on the way to san francisco.Interestingly the concorde itself does not show this effect. There are some more things i managed to solve like autopilot and radio failures. I just added the master switch of the extra to most of my panels.

I wouldn't count on anyone still using FS2000. It was the worst performing of the last 4 or 5 versions. Many people, including me, found that FS2002 performed much more smoothly on the same system than FS2000 ever did.
