January 7, 200422 yr I've noticed that when I leave an airport that if I look back at it in spot view my frame rates drop. Natural enough if the ai aircraft are in sight, but it still happens when I'm far enough away that I can't see them and for quite some time afterwards. I've verified this by turning traffic off, and the frame rates shoot up. I guess that the software can "see" the ai aircraft so draws them even though the user can't. I suppose there's nothing you can do about this...Hmmmm, I wonder what all else is being drawn that you can't see?
