January 7, 200422 yr Yes, it certainly is possible, and not very difficult. Simply make sure the joysticks as you want to use are connected and recognized by Windows (control panel - game controllers). From within the FS2004 control settings page, you will see a drop down box with the name of one of your joysticks in it. By switching from joystick to joystick, you can assign individual commands to each joystick. When flying, FS will recognize input to any joystick you have assigned commands to.For example, I currently use the Saitek throttle from my x-36 HOTAS for my left hand, and a microsoft force-feedback 2 for my right hand, and CH pedals for my feet. Didn't need to install any special software, or go through any headaches to set it up. Suprised me how easily they all worked together.Hope this helps!Jesse
January 8, 200422 yr Be careful not to have two joysticks plugged in that are mapped to the same axis- can and will cause problems. Flutter in the controls, stutters, poor centering, etc- as the two sticks essentially "fight" with each other to control that single axis. Generally not a recommended setup, I think MS even lists this as something not to do in their installation "read me". I ignored it myself and experienced lots of little niggling stuff with my controllers, then unplugged one and deleted it from the menu and had 100% better response.Best,Joel
