Problem with FS2004

Featured Replies

I fly FS2004 sometimes on my Compaq Evo N1000 Notebook. It has Pentium IV and 256K of RAM. But after about 45 minutes in the Sim, it shuts down the Notebook, turns it completely off. I went in and modified some settings, made them lower. Still no joy. It shouldn't be doing this. Anyone have an idea what's going on?dedeyeClueless in Seattle:-newbie

Could be an over-heating problem. Mine will shut down when running FS2004, and there isn't enough circulation such as flying in bed & the covers are tucked around it....The bottom of the unit will get quite hot without adequate circulation. This sim will also run desktop's hotter than other applications too.L.Adamson P4 2.8 Toshiba laptop
