August 31, 201114 yr This post is addressed to PMDG and should be taken as a constructive suggestion, NOTHING more. ------------------------------ Rather than having to wade though Literally 100's of irrelevent posts, to find out what progress is being made on a given issue, how about an Official PMDG Status page, (Locked), that reflects the latest status of the issues currently that so many are concened with. ie.Registration problemsHotfixesSP1SDKLow Rez TexturesMultiCrewetc Just a simple, one page Staus of the progress being made, with the current expected completion time. (obviously subject to change) The only form of Status page I am aware of is the Hotfix one dated August 16.( 2 weeks old now) Also, if there is going to be any futher Hotfixes before SP1, can they contain a list of things fixed (or meant to be fixed). ? If nothing else, such information may reduce the apparent high level of Customer Frustration, that is evident in the nature & tone of a lot of the posts in this forum. My biggest Frustration with the PMDG 737ngx is not its teething issues, but rather that difficulty in "time efficiently" keeping aware of what is happening to correct them.
September 1, 201114 yr Yes have to agree - Was quite useful before when there was a tracking issues page up - it gave an idea of what bugs were already reported and meant folks wouldnt keep posting the same threads over and over again due to the last one that was posted on it had dropped about 10 pages deep! A FAQ post would also be kind of good as many of the issues people post arent actually bugs but more either user error, "Features" of the PMDG or just require a simple fix or mod. The Its becoming virtually impossible to see the good and useful threads from the dross. Im aware the biggest issue is the Activation, Freeze and CTD for PMDG to solve - but there are other glitches and it would be at least useful to see that PMDG are aware of them and at some point will fix - Im sure then it would also reduce the number of support tickets being send on items that may have already been resolved for any upcoming patch or HF. Of course by the time anyone from PMDG are around this post is likely to be 10 pages deep and missed! Regards James Carr
September 3, 201114 yr Sept 3rd, looks like Capt Randazzo has created an updated Status Page, with some projected dates. Thanks Robert (Should cut down on a lot of the forum "repeated" "WHEN" and "WHAT" posts)
