January 10, 200422 yr Hi guys,I've been considering buying the 727 from captain sim but my only worry is that my screen resolution is too small. I run it at 1024x768 and I know the 727 was designed for 1600x1200 so will the size reduction make my panels unreadable, like the number on the airspeed indicator or the engine gauges too small?PS: I tried to post that on captain sim's forum but it seems that you need to be a regitered owner to be able to post there. Thanks in advance,Nick
January 10, 200422 yr Nick,You can run Capt Sim 727 perfectly well in 1024x768 although I run mine in 1280x960 which is somewhere in between. If you use the virtual cockpit with Active Camera 2004 you can fly and zoom in and out on the instruments - very effective. I've just resized my Capt Sim 727 to 1024x768 to look at the difference - there is obviously some difference but still perfectly useable - Your decision!!KevKev
January 10, 200422 yr Due to a defunct monitor I have to run my sim at 1024x768 at the moment. I flew the CS 727 yesterday and the gauges were still readable. If you fly in the 2D cockpit, there is a clickspot to turn on digital readouts for most of the gauges, very nice.VOlker :]
