Quick question about mesh. I've got the whole US loaded from Terrafish. Somewhat pleased, but I understand it's only a step up from MSFS default. I've also got some 38M LOD10 mesh, freeware, mostly from AVSIM or FSGenesis.net.Question is, I've got all the mesh in one folder in my Addon Scenery folder. Should I be mixing mesh like this? And if it's okay to do so, as I understand MSFS will display the most in-depth mesh, does it slow down the sim much in order to do that? Does it matter?Thanks,

Hi Joe,I've got a lot of mesh installed too, however I've always kept the different meshes in separate folders--easier to manage and control exactly which mesh sets I use at any particular time.In answer to your question, I'm not sure. Like you, I understand that FS2004 automatically displays the most detailed mesh. Again, I'd recommmend separate folders, if only to assist in debuggin a scenery conflict, if one arises.Maybe a visit to the Avsim mesh forum would be in order?-- Walt
