I have yet to fly on VATSIM using FS9 since I got it. Whenever I log onto vatsim, ServInfo shows me off the coast of africa somewhere. ATC has also confirmed showing me there as well. I've followed all the instructions on http://www.fspilotguy.tk and should have everything set up correctly. Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance

The problem relates to FSUIPC.Make sure you have the latest version and also make sure you register Squawkbox and Servinfo with FSUIPC- you don't need to register FSUIPC itself or pay for it but you must enter the reg codes for other applications.To do this start FS9, click on modules in the top menu bar, select FSUIPC and when the window opens click "register an application" .Then enter the following Name of application "squawkbox" ( without the quotes)Reg code " LWVQ 7I2V 9GPB"(again no qoutesnote digit 6 is a capital i)For Servinfo the info to enter is "servinfo" and "HEXV 7QNT FQ0F" and the 11th digit is a zero.The codes are case sensitive.Once you have done this you should no longer appear about 500 miles W of Africa.If you haven't already got the latest FSUIPC get it here---http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Cheers Dave
