Greeting one and all. This week I had to reformat my harddrive. I installed Windows XP, which I had been using for the past year, then went through the long process of downloading and re-installing all my programs. I noticed FS9 wasn't running as fast as it used to, where i would normally get 13 to 18 FPS on my old machine, I was now getting 4 or 5 FPS. I made sure I had the latest and greatest drivers but nothing helped.I also noticed that before, I had been using FAT32 system for my hardrive, Windows XP reformatted it to NTFS. The local computer store guru said if I reinstalled Windows it would give me the option to go back to FAT32, it didn't. I reinstalled Windows anyway, now..... when I run FS9, I get 30 - 50 FPS, but the aircraft seems to be flying at half speed. It's not, I've checked the clock on the sim (in the cockpit)and it's running normally. I also noticed that ATC is much slower to respond (more like real life...actually...lol)I deleted FS9 and reinstalled..... same thing. Any ideas?????ThanksDave
