Do I need an upgrade?

Hi,This is making me crazy. I fell I want to through my PC out of the window when it happens. I will try to make it simple. I was flying online using Sq box and had ATC on TeamSpeak. Eveything was going normal. Sudennly the PC started slowing down and any comapnd by the mouse or keyboard takes a few minutes beofre the PC responds. For example if I minimize a window, it would take at least 20 seconds to minimize. When this happenes, the CPU usage is 100% but the available physical memory is more than the systmen cache. The PC continues to be slow even if I closed all the FS and other programs. I have to restart in order for it to be back to normal. Please find following my PC specs:Intel CPU 1.7 GHz Intel Motherboard 1.5 GB SDRAM - PC133 as a speed 3000 to 4000 MB virtual memory 60 GB Hard disk AGP VGA Nevida display card with 128 MBModem 92vNetwork card 10/100Thanks in advance.Faisal.

I'm really disappointed. :-( Not a single reply!

Disabled firewall protection? Anti-virus software?Which OS are you using? Win XP? If so, it has a built-in firewall that you may need to manually disable before flying online.Allcott

Allcott,Thanks for the help. I'm using XP and I have the firewall disabled. So the firewall is not the cause of the problem. I need to see if the Anti-virus program is causing the problem.
