January 20, 200422 yr I obtained a very good profile for the X45 from an experienced user on Livewire VA. Great Profile! Excellent VA!!!! The problem is the "Magic Mouse" feature of the X45 conflicts with my new Logitech Wireless Duo mouse. Whenever I run them together my mouse tweaks out on the desktop and the flight controls go off into LALA land. No throttle, no rudder, just useless! From my sources on the very helpful Livewire Forum and contacting the great support at Saitek it is a known issue involving the Logitech drivers. I'm wondering if anyone is using the X45 with a MicroSoft wireless mouse? I hear rumors the drivers in the MS wireless mouse are much "tighter" than the Logitech's (which would make sense since MS own the sourcecode). But before I give the wife the Logitech set and buy a MS set, I want to talk with someone who is using the MS wireless mouse with the Saitek Profile Editor software. The X45 works with the Logitech without the Editor, I just can't load the advanced software for the X45 that allows the loading and mapping of a "profile". The default works "kinda" , but about 60% of the goodies mapped to the stick are lost unless I can load the profile editor, which requires the advanced "Magic Mouse" software, which hoses up with Logitech.Anyone??Thanks
