January 25, 200422 yr hi all is there a fault with the Autopilot in Fs2004.if i try to use the IAS hold, the airspeed just keeps climbing until i get an overspeed warning.i do disconnect it before it gets that far,but it can be annoying to have to keep turning it off.sometimes switching it on and off a few times seems to help.. best wishes steve
January 25, 200422 yr Some aircraft don't have an IAS hold. If your panel supports it, i.e. if it has an IAS hold switch, you can enable it by adding the line:autopilot_available=1to your aircraft.cfg file under the autopilot section. You can also add:autopilot_arming_required=1 if there's an IAS arming switch on the panel. Now that I think about it, you might be able to do this even if your panel dosn't support it by adding the lines then using the keystroke commands...rgds,billg
January 26, 200422 yr Hi Steve,A little more info might be helpful. Info such as what aircraft, what airspeed are your trying to attain, and what altitude are your flying. Also check in the Realism section under the Aircraft menu to insure that "Display indicated airspeed" is selected. R-
