January 26, 200422 yr Hi all!For some reason, when I use the "Create a Flight" option in FS9, everything loads and then, as soon as the panel appears the screen goes black and I get the dreaded "Serious Error" message and FS9 exits. The only way I can get to fly (occassionally!) is to load my default flight (which doesn't seem to generate this error) and then use the "Select Aircraft", "Go to airport" and "Time and Season" functions. My default aircraft is the PMDG B737, so I can't believe this is a memory/complex panel problem. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?I suspect the answer to my problem is to reinstall FS9, but I am loathe to do so. There may be no alternative. Any help that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading this...Regards,Paul Mallows
January 26, 200422 yr Your default aircraft should be a default aircraft. Simple, really and a time-honoured recommendation since the FS98 days. Easy enough to switch planes after loading the scenario.Allcott
