hello gentlemen! welcome to a new week, may it be prosperous and healthy for all of us!:)http://www.myworld2004.com/this is either a new product or a repackaging of an older one. in any case, has anyone acquired it yet? is it any good?i have dozens of payware and freeware landclass products and i see that, generally, the larger the coverage, the less accurate the landclass data are. something claiming to cover the entire world is bound to raise my suspicion.i would be grateful for some brief, honest reviews. please, don't say it's "great" or "amazing" or "feels real". i'm looking for a "my-fishing-hamlet-in-eastern-siberia-is-right-on-the-spot" kind of comment.:)thank you very much for your help. hope to be of help, too, one day.peace!vilk

Hi vilk,I just posted an answer to Victor giving my opinion on the landclass (topic MyWorld 2004 Landclass).Well I prefer the landclass compared to the FS9 default. Is it perfect when flying in my home town surroundings in sweden? No, not perfect but a lot better than the default landclass. I don't like the city textures that is used in a lot of the European cities. But this issue is discussed in a topic on the MyWorld2004 support forum and as far as I got it Burkhard Renk is at work getting this fixed.If your using FScene you should be aware that Burkhards landclass doesn't make use of the same textures as the default landclass does. The result of using both at the same time isn't acceptable to me, so I decided not to use the FScene textures.If your looking for the perfect landclass I'll guess you'll get disappointed.It's, as usual :) , all up to you, your gut feeling and your wallet.Ulf B

i saw your answer there, thanks a lot.it's not about the wallet. thing is, i have numerous landclass files already and if i get really ###### with them i can make my own, too. i'd be happy if i were getting ######, say, half the number of times i am now after i buy this one.:)i bought one such "global" landclass product a while ago. total garbage. i didn't know where to run from it. so i'm cautious now.fsgenesis on the other hand has a very decent landclass for the us (and southern ontario) which shows that achieving good quality on a large scale is possible.ha. time will tell.:)thanks again!vilk
