Can someone please advise me as to how I determine which setting I should select of these :- 60,70,72,75 Hertz please?

To keep it simple;If you have old CRT type monitor (4:3), usually set around 75Hz. lower settings can cause flickering on screen, If these are the options given, then I'm assuming it's the old type. 72 may also work.A newer flat panel LCD widescreen monitor usually runs at 60Hz, that's about it for basic LCD's.Some high end new monitors and some LCD/LED/TV types, can run at 100Hz or higher. check the documentation if it's a new monitor/TV.hope this helps,Ron.

Ron, Thanks for response.Monitor is ACER V223W LCD 22 ins. V Frequency 56-76 Hz. Max Resolution 1680 x 1050 @ 60HzCan I assume from this that 60 HZ is the correct setting?

yes, that's the correct setting for that type of monitor,happy flying,Ron.
