January 28, 200422 yr Hi,The Fs9 default King Air banks to the right during normal level fight.Does anyone have a fix or an aircraft.cfg suggestion entry for this aircraft or perhaps an FSUIPC setting?I have tweaked the rudder controls with FSUIPC. Reset my calibrations many times but the aircraft "banks" to the right about 3 degrees unless I force the yoke a bit to starboard banking when on AP.,with heading and altitude set. If I click the rudder trim control it overcontrols the bank the other way. Even one "click" of rudder is too much.I know it is not the fuel load.I don't think it is the engine torqueI don't think it is a crosswind condition. This may have started after I installed FSUIPC but I can't be sure. Before I do an uninstall of FSUIPC perhaps someone can tell me what their Rudder adjustment numbers are in the FSUIPC "Joystick: section so that I can do a compare. I only have this problem with the King Air.Thankskosmo007
January 29, 200422 yr Hi Alcott,I know it needs adjustment....the problem is any adjustment seems to be too much....I was hoping for a model of setting in FSUIPC that I could try as a baseline....Kosmo007
January 29, 200422 yr If you use the mouse on the aileron trim wheel you can trim it very precisely. Click once or twice and wait to see what happens before trimming more. Don't worry if the wheel doesn't move because if it does you've probably applied too much trim.David
January 29, 200422 yr Hi Kosmo!I'm pretty sure the King Air does have a slight amount of torque, although not in the same sense as a single engine aircraft. I think the torque is perceived due to the forces generated on the tail from the slipstream (a further effect of yaw is roll).I hope you have luck trimming the rudder to counter this! (I wouldn't have a clue how to more finely trim the rudder).James
January 29, 200422 yr The keyboard commands in FS are variable based on press time. Keeping the button pressed increases the rate of adjustment. Try quick taps. Also try aileron adjustment. Finally check the fuel load is equal both sides. At a pinch you can adjust rudder trim effectiveness in the aircraft. cfg file but this sounds more like a problem with your aircraft setup or a hitoric setting carried over from a previous flight. The King Air does not have excessive trim adjustment problems in the sim (but it does have others!),so the problem must be closer to home. Allcott
