Hi John,Awesome! I just downloaded it. :)Cheers,Jim

Hi JimThanks:)Pleased you like itJohn

Hi John,I installed it and tried it out and just thought I'd let you know about a few observations from my point of view. Keep in mind I'm no aircraft expert!I sure wish there were a pilot sitting in the cockpit when I go into spot view. No biggie though. It says it has a cruise speed of 270. I had a lot of trouble getting it to 230 with the mixture set and the throttle firewalled. I was at about 7,500 ft. Using Shift-Z the game said I was going much less than that! I noticed you said that 140 for rotation was too high and will be fixed so maybe the power issue is something you are still working out. The plane seems to trim nicely and about how I would expect though.I was wondering about the machine guns. There is a macine gun emplacement on the left wing, but not one for the right wing?Anyway I really like the plane and panel. Great model. :) I appreciate your fine work on it and want to say Thank You! I am going to post a series of 'Military Aircraft in FS2004' screenshots in the screenshots forum and the Yak 52 will be in it of course! :-smile12Sincerely,Jim

Jimthanks for the post. I will take the issues in order1. Pilot figure. I have tried a couple of these and they just looked wrong. It is something I will add when I make a good one.2. The Engine is not turbocharged so it will loose power with altitude. Full throttle height would be about 4-5,000 feet depending on temperature. I will look at this and if needed adjust the settings.3. There are no machine guns, as the real aircraft does not have them.I will look at the performance issue tonight and let you know. I am very pleased to hear you like the model though. I worked on it for about a year to get to this stage.EnjoyJOHN

Hi Again John,Ok,thanks for the reply. Just an fyi, I live near KDEN and take off from there pretty often. So I'm already at 5,400 just sitting on the tarmac. ;) I guess I don't know what the thingy on the left wing is. My guess is the pitot tube? You can enlighten my if you feel like it.If you want to see a screenshot I took of your planes here's a link to it. :)http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...topic_id=114438Thanks Again!Jim"Variable, this is EasyRhino. Do you copy? Over." Loud and clear EasyRhino. "Do we have a gig? Over." That's a Roger, we have a gig. Target is painted, start the music. "Roger that Variable. Into attack. Pickling target. Target is acquired and lit. LGB comin' down!" EasyRhino, circular error probability zero. Impact with High Order Detonation. Thank You, have a nice day.

hi JimYep.... you are right , it's the pitot tube.I am looking into the performance figures for you and if it looks like an update is needed I will mail you a new file to replace the old one.I have been offered a pilot figure as well, so 'watch this space' as they sayRegardsJohn
