Too bad (but good too) the thread is now locked, so here is a new thread to offer at least some more suggestions.Every panel and its constituants are protected by Copyright. Some programs enforce the copyright in electronically preventing any editing, but if not the case, this does not mean you can take any bitmap and change any panel.cfg file. Well, in the case of panel.cfg file, since it is using a "documented" language to set it up, and since there is no "proprietary algorithm" in a panel.cfg file implementation (well this is just a basic view but should be enough to make the point), the panel.cfg could not be really copyright enforced. It is however of natural and expected courtesy to always ask an author / vendor, permission to edit the panel.Now, in the particular case of the Reality XP products, we can all salute the will and support FSD is showing to their customers in "extending" the features of their original creation with additional options. This is good for the customer in the end in having more choices, and better return on his investment.If any implementation is not to your liking, why not sharing it with the vendor first? if you are not able to edit and configure the panel, why not first seek for assistance, share your view, with the community (I mean the Reality XP community in this case, which prooved to have very talented panel designers).It is also our duty to offer the most help we can to FSD in this case: this is to please us, and to help them. Why doing the reverse and fight, instead of contributing constructively as a community?Just food for tought, but tolerance, patience, and sharing knowledge are the key drivers to this community in my opinion, and we just passed over an oportunity to outdone oursleves once again.
