February 5, 200422 yr I am desperatly seeking some helpI am currently involved in a small project to model an Add-on Grob 103 Viking Glider for Flight sim. Hopefully making it the most realistic representation of the Glider so far, even better than the ones all ready available as this glider holds a special place in my heart and i feel it deserves even more attention to detail. When finished, this add-on glider will be available Freeware to anyone to download and try.I am trying to improve the virtual cockpit visual look of my model and am looking for some one to provide a clear and sharp image of the Grob103 forward panel/cockpit.Although there is a cockpit shot all ready available (see below) i think its too dark and is missing the canopy rim, im just trying to get closer to the real thing as i beleive in being a perfectionist. If you are able to help provide me with a picture, please can you set up the taking of the shot with the following in mind?so the perspective of the Forward panel/cockpit picture looks right when imported into the simulator thanks.Forward Panel to be the Same Perspective / Line of sight as this shot. but with these changes:1. Taken Outside in Natural light2. With Canopy Closed3. Nose Wheel Touching Ground and Wings level (As if ready to launch)4. As high resolution Picture as possible (So Gauges can be read)P.S.Not as important only if you have time !Some internal shots of the cockpit sides, Seat covers, carpets would also be useful!I will definatly mention and give credit to anyone who can provide some help towards the release of the final project. This Add-on Glider may even prove useful to Instructors, Staff, and cadets in providing basic familiarization of the Grob103 during bad weather or explaining maneuvers before trying them out in the real thing. Please Post these Pictures or links to your newley supplied pics up on the forum or send directly to me using: [email protected] to here from you soon
