FSMetar trouble....

Featured Replies

I've just started using FSMetar and I love what it does but even though I've paid the shareware fee of $17.00 and made all the FSUIPC settings outlined in the user manual I can't get smooth transistions between weather stations. In fact, when I do make the suggested settings the sim gets a bad case of the stutters that sometimes never stops when a new Metar station loads. I've written to the FSMetar people about this but have not recived a response. Has anyone else seen this and know what the cure might be?TonyDigital-Flight

I got the same trouble, wow the stutters are incredible, I dontthink this software is very usable in its present state, glad I didnt pay for it

Sorry I can't be of any help, but I just downloaded FSMetar as well and purchased the registered FSUIPC. I followed all the directions to configure FSUIPC for smooth transitions, but still get very abrupt changes. I am also confused as to how to set weather in FS while running FSMetar (Themes, User-Defined Weather, Download weather ?) I would really like to know if anyone with any weather add-on is getting smooth transitions from station to station.John M.

Sorry you're having the problem but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I've written twice now to customer support on this and have not received a reply. I'm really starting to feel a bit ripped off now as the only reason to pay for the registration was to get the smooth transitions.TonyDigital-Flight

@Digital Flight: How come you paid for it? According to the accompanying documentation it is freeware... http://www.langkawi.dk/l22.gif[/img]Kind regards,
