GA AI Traffic Question

Featured Replies

Hey all -After finding a recomendation for the file gatrfic2.zip in another thread in this forum, I downloaded it and tried to make it work. However, it doesn't seem to want to :( TTools won't compile the thing, saying that it has a problem has a problem with AC# so and so. So I check the aircraftGA.txt file(I renamed them by adding GA to the end of the filename, and removing the numbers so I can create a brand new bgl for the GA traffic), and this is what I see for AC#1: AC#1,Enter Cruise Speed Here,"Empty Slot"Argh. So I replace the Aircraft.cfg file with one from the default traffic bgl, and it still won't compile :( My original traffic.bgl only has something like 56 aircraft entries, and the flightplanGA.txt file wants entries up to 90something. So should I go ahead and add whatever planes I want to the file, or what? Thanks! :)

You just have to change the ,Enter cruise speedhere, with a number maybe 140 or 200 doesnt matter since its open slots for adding your own aircraft later (flightplans are already there for these AC#'s)The outcome of it will be AC#1,200,"Emtpy Slot". I think it refuses to compile because it wants the speed and doesnt care about the title of the aircraft :)Hope that will work then.

Thank you for that response. I will see if that helps out the situation :)
