PMDG 1900D INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

Featured Replies

I am considering purchasing the new PMDG Beechcraft 1900D. Can anybody who has purchased this please inform me what the installation procedure for this product is. After purchase and downloading, do you need an active on-line internet connection to install this aircraft.I have a dedicated high-end Flight Simulator computer which I keep sterile from any outside intrusions (such as virusses)Can I install the PMDG B1900D to that computer which will be off-line during the process.Thank you.

Downloading as we speak...So far I know there will be no activation, same as 737NG. Just download, install and enjoy.

I have just completed my first flight in the PMDG 1900D. No activation was required. You purchase the plane at their website, and after that you get a download link via email. My mail took about 5 seconds to arrive :)A very nice plane, and a real bargain!VOlker :]

Quick, easy and painless.Email arrived 30 seconds after hitting the purchase button. Clicked the link, downloaded with no issues.Install was a breeze. There are already free liveries in the download section at PMDG's site.....A real bargain and one sharp looking plane.Congrats to Robert Randazzo and the PMDG Team, well done fellas! :-)Go for it, you won't regret it. PMDG is tops all the way around.Cheers,Frankhttp://fsgateway.com/frank/fs9paibeta.jpg

I have purchased it! and as you say, download particulars were e-mailed to me and received almost instantaneously. But I am battling to get it downloaded. It's proceedig like a battle wounded snail! I presume this is because there is a stampede for what promises to be a real stunner!I am really happy that installation will proceed without all this activation nonsense. I have stayed clear of ostensibly good products such as the Flight 1 C310 and the FSD PC6 Porter because I have learnt in forums that both presented endless hassles to the consumer, all in the name of fighting piracy. All I need after parting with my hard earnt money is an endless stream of e-mails backwards and forwards quoting multiple digit numbers after a vendor has invaded my privacy by analizing my computer to generate a unique code! Bravo to PMDG for saving me all these hassles! I cannot wait to get into my B1900D...if it is anything as good as the screenshots, then this might well become one of my favourites, if not my default touring aircraft!

Click Purchase, receive email a few seconds later, download, install, fly ;-)That's it.Lot's of free liveries as well and what a perfect addition to our Continental VA as Continental's Connection division uses the B1900 and they even had the "bahama" addition ;-)

I did not even know it was coming out and I have been waiting for a nice 1900D like this one. The minute I saw this post I was off to find it. As mentioned above the purchase is very simple and the same goes for the install.I just did two approaches right down to the minimums using this aircraft and it has one of the most stable air files I have used! Great panel, great VC, great great great! Now. What will it take to use JL2 avionics with this 2D panel? Also there are 24 liveries for download at the site! After a second round of testing I am also happy to report that despite the crisp 2D panel and VC it seems to be very good on the FPS.

Yup I noticed it mentioned on the Reality XP page a few minutes after I posted that. I just figured it would take a little longer to be done!
