Help! How do I select ALL engines for the throttle?

Featured Replies

While flying I accedentally hit the 'E' key on the keyboard and now I can only control the left engine throttle with my throttle on my CH flight yoke. I have presses the 'E' key several times to select the right engine, but the throttle on my flight yoke and the throttle key on my keyboard will only control the left engine. Is there any way to get the throttle to control all engines on a multi-enigne airplane while in flight, without re-starting the sim? Thanks!Scott :-)

Scott,When you hit the 'E' key, it probably "desynchronized" the engines from the throttle.Just press 'E 1 2' to resynchronize both engines with the throttle. If you are flying a 4-engine aircraft, press 'E 1 2 3 4'.This should work. Let us know if it did the job for you.Regards,JerryH

Thanks Jerry! It worked! For some reason I wasn't able to find the key order that you suggested in the FS9 documentation.I must have overlooked it!Happy Simming!Scott :-)

Another way is to switch to another plane, then right back. That will also put the engines back in sync. And if you have FSUIPC installed, ya can set up a key stroke combination to automatically re-synch them as well.-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
