February 13, 200422 yr I've downloaded the Project Fokker 10070 from Avsim. Nice aircraft to fly. I have a question about the using the flight example for the panel. It shows the way to set up the a/c for a test flight leaving EHAM R/W 01L and coming back around and landing on R/W 06. During the flight its tell you " At D4 SPL change heading" it says this a number of times ie: at D10, D18...... What does the D+number mean?
February 14, 200422 yr Sounds like it means to say DME04 SPL. What it means is. You tune into the SPL VOR/DME freq on NAV1. Then after takeoff when the DME reads 004 you make the heading change. Then at DME 010 you will make the next heading change, then at DME 018 the next heading change, and so forth. :-outta http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/User_files/3e72a43942b48d2b.jpg There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".- unknown "My daddy gives me up, to fight for you"- a US Military Members Child
