Depiction Output causes "freezers"/graphicissues

Featured Replies

Good evening together,im a proud ASE user since a month...Works very well, weather and cloudsituations are very realistic....If theres not this problem....Every time, if "Depiction Output" has been activated, and the "Sim Queue Count" is counting up and down to zero, the sky is "flashing" for every count, and i have strong freezers too...I installed SP3, it doesnt helps..I tried the beta version of SP4.... unfortunatly it doesnt helps...I use FSX with SP2...I tried serveral options for ASE... and the only option which solve the problem, was DWC... Then idont have any problems like the described... The only problem with DWC... i loose much framesin every situation...Any solution for this problem(s)?Best RegardsBenni

Hi,This is going to happen in Standard Depiction Mode because of SimConnect. Please try Smooth Cloud Mode and see if that helps.

Hi Jim,thanks for your answer...SCM helps for the freezers, but like its description of it, it causes inconsistant weather at the airport... I tried serveral flights now with it,but unfortunatly i have always bad winds at destination airport... somtimes above 50kn winds....its a pitty, beacause at ASX i had this problem only at initial depection...No other solution for me?Best regards Benni
