February 15, 200422 yr Hi,Are you thinking that performance of the fs could be improved by changing the harddisk to a harddisk with ata100 support?Or is that not the ultimativ improvement?SincerelyTFT
February 16, 200422 yr Not sure if this would be a total solution to the question you ask.I have been running FS2004 on a SCSI 160 10,000 RPM which will deliver better performance than the drive you suggest. Where as i notice vastly improved loading times, i dont notice anything of advantage once the sim is actually running. Lots of it will come down to the CPU and RAM you have. I am sure someone with more technical expertise will be able to confirm/deny what i have just said.RgdsAidihttp://www.vfr-flightcenter.com/avsim_sig.jpg
