Angel Falls Scenery Add On Problem?

Featured Replies

Hello,Last night I downloaded the David Maldonado's Angel Falls scenery add on (from the AVSIM library) to go with the mesh I have installed from FSGenesis for the same area. However, when I go there I find that the bitmap (?) for the actual falls appears on top of the mountain, rather on the cliff face, and is set back a few hundred yards. Has anybody else experienced this?Victor

Is that scenery compatible with the mesh? Or was it designed for the default? Because if it was designed for the default then that might be the problem. I don't know if it is supposed to work with that mesh since I don't have the scenery you describe. Maybe I'll check it out myself and read the documentation that came with it. Of course I assume you have read the documentation yourself and therefore the answer must not be in it :) If so why not contact the author?Edit...I just looked up the scenery in the library and from the description it includes its own mesh for the area. So I think its safe to assume the scenery was designed to be used with that mesh and not FSGenesis.

Yep the Falls scenery is not compatibale with enhanced mesh terrain. If ya pan around with the falls bit in place then do the same with it off you will see a significant difference. While the pix of the falls is interesting, the scenery came off my system quickly. -------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
