This one goes under the "Yeah, but how do you start it?" category, as in:Salesman: This fine aircraft features animated control surfaces, a full lighting configuration, opening passenger and cargo doors, flexing wings, wingviews, compressing gear, dynamic shine and realistic FDE for a truly outstanding flight experience!Me: Yeah, but how do you turn it on?I downloaded IFDG's Federal Express MD-11 last night (http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=Root&DLID=38491) and couldn't WAIT to fly it, not only because of IFDG's reputation, but also for the sheer thrill of making sure I got there overnight.Unfortunately, when I saddled myself into the cockpit, I couldn't seem to turn the damn airplane on. CTRL+E did nothing. I played around with switches, and although the avionics and radios were on, I simply couldn't figure out how to get the engines started. (Incidentally, I had the same problem with a POSKY plane I downloaded a while back, a fine aircraft that has been gathering dust in the hangar for a couple months now, simply because I don't know how to turn it on.)Now, I'm sure this is a standard idiot-test to keep people like me from flying aircraft they have no business piloting. But having played around with FS config files and even trying my hand at repainting, I figure myself as intelligent as the average bear. I'm hoping someone out there will be compassionate enough to give me a clue. Thanks for your help!

Try using CTRL-J-+ (in other words, hit control J then the plus sign), then hit CTRL-F4. That usually starts the Jet Engines.
