Temporary Loss of Joystick Control

Featured Replies

I did a bit of searching on these boards for a similar problem and didn't find anything, so I guess this is either a unique problem or one that everyone else solved a long time ago.Whenever I'm flying, I'll temporarily lose joystick control for several seconds, and then it will recover and start functioning normally again. This will happen fairly regularly, usually every minute or two. I've tried a number of solutions to try to clear this up. I've tried using a PCI USB card and a powered USB hub. I've tried enabling the USB legacy keyboard and mouse options in my BIOS. I've tried setting my USB port to 1.1 only in the BIOS. I've tried switching to about a half a dozen sets of drivers (clearing the old set out each time).Does any out there have any other ideas for me to try? At first I thought it was an issue with my joystick (X-36 USB), but I'm not having this problem with any other sims.I have:Windows 98SEA7N8X Deluxe Motherboard512 MB RamAthlon XP 2800+ CPUI appreciate any help anyone out there can provide. Thanks in advance.
