NEW FS BENCHMARK: FLEXING WINGS FROM SGA DC10

Featured Replies

Hi guys and girlsits superb, take the new DC10 "Canadien" from Shane Strong SGA, set the weather to thunderstorm, kick the autopilot in and enjoy the really real look from the wingview!(they flex due the turbulence)thanks to SGA, its a masterpiece of a flexing wing!!! :-)also the rest of that model, also the A-300!!! :-)Cant wait to have this wing on the A-300.....again Thanks!!!McDaniel

The new DC 10 from SGA has been out for about a week, but yeah it's pretty neat the wing flex.

i havent tryed that yet guess i should :)shane

Would just like to point out that Shane Strong is not an SGA member, hes an independent painter. The one you should thank is Fraser Turner, the man responsible for the breakthrough animations.(Not saying Shane is a bad painter, hes great!)

I agree...Especially for us wing view enthusiasts, the flexing wing of SGA's DC-10 makes the chop seem as real as it gets.... Microsoft also deserves some credit for making this possible with the latest release of MSFS and documenting it in their SDK for us. Expect to see this feature in other products--but without SGA's work, it might have gone unnoticed....-John
