February 8, 201214 yr I have the best intel processor the I7 3960X O.C. to 4.3Ghz and a evga GTX 580 Superclocked. The processor is liquid cooled and when i film a fsx video in scenery i can not film towards the the actual scenery because i only get 11 FPS. I see videos on youtube that have the settings really high in fsx and they don't have as good as a processor as me and they get better frame rates. I have REX and i use nividia inspector. i dont know how to achive the FPS that they do in scenery and i would like to do that. My complete specs for my computer is in my signature. I was wondering if anybody could help me. February 8, 201214 yr Afaik a lot of (at least commercial) FSX movies are recorded at half time speed... and then played back and edited at double speed. Hence the awesome fps. :wink:If the question is really about getting better fps and not about getting better movies... search for tweaks: there are thousands of topics about it. And everyone 'believes' in different tweaks. :( I mainly use the Bufferpools at 0 tweak. Works perfectly over here. But other disagree... It's a matter of trying them all one by one (!) and figuring out what works best for you. (Be aware that a lot of tweak topics and posts only talk about the tweaks and the 'great results' without even mentioning the ingame settings... which of course can make a world of difference.)
