Virtual cockpits and 3d panels

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to install the virtual cockpit of the default aircraft into downloaded aircraft? I have my AAL777 with a great panel but with no Virtual cockpit or sights of the cockpit when looking around, and I want to install in it the one that comes with the default 777.Thanks,Leo

VC are hard coded in the model, cant be transported to other models wihtout having the source.

Cheap Microsoft!Well, it seems the new question is where can I find a VC and 3d panel for the 777?I also want the same for the 747 if any of these exist.Actually I have 3d cockpits for most of my aircraft, but nothing for these two.Leo

>Cheap Microsoft! ?, why?, the Virtual cockpit is a 3D model, thus it is modelled in the same way as the external model, thus the 3D cockpit is "hard-coded" into the model>Well, it seems the new question is where can I find a VC and>3d panel for the 777?You wont find a VC for a 777 unless you download a whole plane which has one included, and I am pretty sure that there is not a 777 with a VC, except the default MS one>I also want the same for the 747 if any of these exist.Except the default MS 747, the only other 747 with a VC is the RFP 747.Now if you are using the default 777 and 747 with addon panels, these may not call the default VC for these planes. If this is the case you need to copy and paste the VC sections from the default panel.cfg's the the addon panels cfg file.Dan.

After several hours of work, at least I could make a cockpit with internal views. I took pictures of the internal views of the default 777, "opened" the windows and added them to my great 777 panel, which now is better than ever.Leo
