February 17, 201214 yr On my last Microsoft presentation, we talked about W8.It should boost performance in games too, but I highly doubt it's gonna boost FSX performance. We are talking % single digits here of course...Time will tell.Yes, everything is going to run under W8 just as same as in W7.What bothers me GREATLY though: you won't be able to turn off the boxes-screen at boot up - it will boot into that, and you have to manually switch to usual windows.I wouldn't know what to start with that screen - except turn it away.I also don't know why is MS doing this stupid decision - such screens are great for tablet PCs, iPad, or whatever... but PC? No sense...Beside, there should be the option to turn it OFF and not see it ever again - not by default OK, but still there should be one!
