February 22, 201214 yr So, I'm trying to find a good display, for a reasonable price. My requirements are:1) Brightness and Color stability in all *usual* angles - I'm not talking 178degrees, but rather typical 30-40 degrees2) Responsiveness, least amount of input lag, and reasonable speed (less than 8ms)3) Good image qualityPricetag up to 400€.TN: problem with the vertical brightness stabilityIPS: problem with the edge glowPVA: loss of color stability when viewed at horizontal angleI am going away from TN to achieve some stability at angle, and ordered two screens:HP ZR2440W and HP ZR24W. Right now I got the ZR2440W, opened it, turned it on, half an hour later turned it off: http://youtu.be/AC7Vm3yDpQQNow, I don't get it how do they imagine for people to pay 340€ for THAT. If I trying looking at the panel at a not a big angle, I get total glow and I don't see the panel any more. This one is going back.I can only hope the ZR24W is going to perform better.
