As regular visitors to this forum might know, I created and maintain a flightsim presence for Cathay Pacific. Over the years I have put up pages for FS2000, FS2002 and most recently, FS2004 (link below).I am buried in a couple of major flightsim projects right now (not to mention having the odd thing to do in the real world!) and have not got around to doing anywhere near the number of repaints for Cathay that I'd like to do. There are one or two aircraft out their that are BEGGING to be painted in CX colours. I could suggest, for starters:1. Mike Stone's new PBY-5A. The history of Cathay's two cats is an interesting one. I painted Harry Follas' model for FS2000 but Mike's model is just great.2. Greg Pepper's marvellous DC-6. An old DC-6 is on my FS2000 page.3. The default Lear Jet, in CX training colours. I painted this for FS2000 and FS2002, but the new 'plane is much nicer.4. Chris Buff's Lockheed Electra L-188. I painted a L-188 in two liveries previously which you can reference on my FS2002 page; Chris' aircraft is very good indeed and there are two great panels out there.5. Dave Garwood's Avro Anson. CX had two in the early days. Dave's new model is superb; the one I painted on my FS2000 page was a much earlier FS98 (or even FS5!?) version.We're short of a really nice L-1011-100, too ....We've plenty of Boeings and Airbuses available (even a A320, which doesn't exist!) but the aircraft above are conspicuous by their absence.What I will be doing myself is a new version of Cathay's founding DC-3 "Betsy" (yes, yet another ... that'll be twelve, I think) based on the forthcoming GMAX DC-3 from Jan Visser and team; but might anyone have any interest in having a crack at some of the gals above, given that authors' permission was granted, of course?I do hope so. You're guaranteed a place of prominence on Dark Moment's website, for what that's worth!
