How does Fltrec work?

I need to use Fltrec to record a flight path in FS2002. I have no idea how to use it. I need to see the actual flight path after a flight in FS2002. I have: FS2002 Pro, Fltrec82, Nav24, and Excel. I don't know how to set them up so that they work together. I have installed fltrec and in FS i can make it record (from the menu on top of the screen), but where does that data go? How do I get to it? I am told that the info can be put into an Excel spreadsheet, but how do you set this up? On the page where you download fltrec and nav there are no instructions. Obviously, I am a complete newbie. Can someone please tell me in detail how to make this work? The ReadMe document that comes with fltrec says that you can make a flight plan with Nav and then compare it to the actual flight track....but do instructions on how to actually do it!
