March 15, 201214 yr Greetings, I need some advice. I'm currently taking flight training in the 152 and use Carenado's 152 to help. If I fly the real deal and get the RPM's at 2250, the airspeed will be around 90-95 kts at 3,000MSL. On the Carenado, with the RPM's at 2250, the IAS is around 80-85 kts. Can I go into the configuration settings and fix this or is there another way? Thanks.
March 15, 201214 yr Well, first off make sure the weather conditions (especially temp and pressure) are about the same as what you're doing IRL. If that is the case, go into your aircraft.cfg file and reduce the parasite drag to about 0.8 (assuming it's "1" now). See how that works for you. If it's too much/not enough, just play with that a bit. Now realize that will have impacts other places, but I don't think you'll really notice it that much to be honest.
March 15, 201214 yr Author Thanks BeaverDriver, I had to move it down to .5 and at 2250 RPM is at 90 plus IAS. Much better than before. Thanks again.
