Dreaming up an idea for AI traffic

Featured Replies

Hey all,I wonder if there is a stellar programmer out there that can make a third party add on that would delete AI traffic on final or properly space them since we can't do anything about the speed as of now. Perhaps this will be released in an SDK in the future, but with the TrafficToolbox SDK from Microsoft, I see you can delete certain aircraft if they're in your way. Looks like we're one step closer to better AI, but not quite there. Just a thought, perhaps someone can create it, Lee Swordy perhaps?EricArea51Intel

There is nothing more annoying than flying for 6 hours without a glitch, only to have AI aicraft overtake you during landing on final and hear the ATC instruct you to execute a missed approach, for the 3rd time. If I were Microsoft, I never would have released the ATC feature until I adapted a way of instructing the aircraft to slow down/speed up in order to maintain proper separation. The other day flying westbround at FL350 I saw something hard to believe. Another jet heading straight for me from the opposite direction, it flew 10 feet overhead, like a bullet. Modeling proper west/east bound flight levels also doesn't seem like a task of galactic proportions. Sometimes I think Microsoft just gets lazy.
