March 30, 200422 yr Can anyone tell me what it is about certain DXT3 textures that causes FS to crash when Render to Texture is disabled? Is there a fix, aside from using 32-bit textures? On the other side, is there a fix for flickering 2-D panels with it on? Thanks for any info!Best,sg
March 30, 200422 yr I have Render to Texture enabled, and have no problem with flickering 2-d panels. However, I use COF's default AA (I have the "Force" option turned off in my NVidia settings) and I use the 30.82 drivers. For the 4xxx series of Nvidia cards, I've found these drivers the most trouble free and glitch free. I do have the Rivatuner negative LOD patch applied to that driver set however... Also, although popular early on in MSFS, I've removed the Panel/AGP tweaks from my FS9.cfg. I found that tweak caused more problems than it solved (I was originally the one who suggested it). Look for a line that says PanelAsAGP=0 in your FS9.cfg and remove it if it's there--that will remove the "tweak".-John
