April 3, 200422 yr Hi guys,I'm experiencing a strange problem here. Since last week, my ATC is not changing frequencies correctly. I explain:Start for example at Boston. On ground everythng OK. After take-off, ATC order to change frequency to lets say Boston Departure or Bostoin Approach, and stays there, even when cruzing heading to Lajes (Azores) in the middle of Atlantic Ocean!! After 3 1/2 hours of flight, it order to start descent as normal "Santa Maria" procedure and not Boston Approach at some thousands miles away!!Only when reaching like 10000ft, it tells me to change to Lajes Approach and after that all goes normal.I don't understand, since I'm right now on another flight from EDDF to DeGaulle and is happening again. Is the Frankfurt Approach that is heading me to DeGaulle Approach!! Something went wrong on my FS9 and I don't understand what!!Any clue from anyone?CheersMiguel
April 13, 200422 yr HI guys,Is it possible that this problem didn't happen with anyone else??I already copy every dll files from original CD's, disable the last sceneries I installed, reconstruct the FS9.cfg..... I don't get it!!!!Help, please. A simple guess may help. Thanks to you all in advance.Miguel
April 14, 200422 yr It's only happened to me twice. The first time I simply quit the sim, restarted it, and it was fine. The other thing you may want to check is how close the second waypoint is relative to the airport. Let's say the takeoff point is KBOS. If you're using FS9's Flight Planner, it'll say the next waypoint is BOS. The problem comes when you takeoff. Depending on the runway, BOS may be behind you after you takeoff. Flight Sim sometimes expects you to go to BOS even though you've passed it. Because ATC sometimes doesn't see that you've passed it, it's waiting for you to cross BOS.What I do is simply delete the BOS waypoint.Good luck.
