April 8, 200422 yr Is there anyway to increase the airport area so that autogen items like trees will be further from the runway? If I turn autogen up I get a single tree close to the end of runway 22 @ KBHB that you tag every time at normal approach altitudes. It sticks right up into the normal 3 degree glideslope for the ILS into that runway.MSFS needs to add a chainsaw tool. :)
April 8, 200422 yr on another note I just noticed that my taxi sights at KBOS are in the runway and on the taxiways. That was not always the case. What happened there? I had used a scenery file upgrade for KBOS for a bit, but it has been de-selected.
April 9, 200422 yr ACA... It appears that you have add-on scenery at both of these airports. I just went to both, I have default scenery for them, and saw none of these problems. You might search the scenery.cfg for these scenerys and contact the authors for an update.Joe W.
April 9, 200422 yr I had used add on scenery for KBOS. It has since been removed, but now my taxiway signs and other surface markings are in the wrong place. The default scenery was not like this from the start so some error has occured. At KBHB my scenery is default and has never been changed. I have always had a single tree at the approach end of 22 that is much too tall. It is back off of the airport area with the rest of the trees, but it sticks right up into the 3 degree glide path.I will try and get a screen shot for each.
April 9, 200422 yr Ok the issue at BOS was due to a left over Avcad file. I deleted that and that problem was fixed. At BHB the tree is part of the normal perimeter trees and just happens to be right in the line of fire. I took this screen shot from a slightly low position just so I could make the top of the tree more visible.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/70671.jpg
