PanAm was credited with many innovations that shaped the international airline industry, including the widespread use of jet aircraft, jumbo jets, and the introduction of the computerized reservation systems. PanAm's storied history continues to this day through the operations of PanAm VA. PanAm VA is proud to reintroduce it's Clipper Cargo Service. This service spans all 6 continents with more than 300 cargo flights. The logistical headquarters and PanAm VA's new cargo superhub is located in Chicago at O'Hare(KORD). PanAm VA has also invested large amounts of capital in the creation of major processing facilities in San Francisco(KSFO), San Diego(KSAN), Tokyo(RJAA), Sydney(YSSY), and London(EGSS). We have also purchased and upgraded facilities in Yellowknife(CYZF) and Iqaliut(CYFB) to serve as regional distribution centres in Northern Canada. PanAm VA's CEO Martin Kellenbarger has dedicated an initial budget of $2.5 billion in capital investment in new aircraft alone. The VA's new VP of Cargo Operations Kevin Nelson is overseeing the purchase of the new aircraft, which include Boeing 747-400 freighters, 747-400 Combi's, 757 freighters, Lockheed L-100's and a Lockheed Electra L-188. The new aircraft will join our cargo fleet which already includes Lockheed C-5's, B747 freighters, B727 freighters, B707 freighters, DC-3's and DC-4's.
