April 12, 200422 yr Hi!I've been reading about the Sirrus SR22 prop single and have to say I am more than impressed! The construction, speed, fuel efficiency, and full glass cockpit Avidine avionics suite look sweeeeet!!!!Just thought I'd mention that this plane would go down quite well if it were to be modelled for FS2004. I would like to hear what others think about this idea.I think I can hear my SF-260 begging to be flown...James
April 12, 200422 yr Hi, may be you should have a look at the following site: http://flightfactory-simulations.com/forum/index.php. You will be amazed how close to the real plane this simulation will be especially the avionics.Michael
April 12, 200422 yr Just returned from six weeks of hoilday in Jupiter Florida. My son arranged with one of his PW friends a Sunday moring flight ... in a new (240hrs total time) Cirrus 20. It didn't have the left crt display, but the right display, steam gauges, 430 gramins, xponder, and flaps looked indentical to what you see on the above link. Even the checklist was the same. Kewl to say the least. We had our son record most of the fight from the back seat with our DV camcorder and it does look like the model being built. We even had blurries on our flight with visiblility about 35 miles. As soon as I get Ulead Movie Studio 7 (currently using version5), I will edit the DV down to a couple minute/downloadedable size and post the addy if any one is interest.Regards,BobSSeems the rage to talk about the "size and speed" of each others computer. Beat this if you can for solving novel/unique problems.. ..Have K&E and know how to use it!

It seems the current crop of aircraft manufacturers don't have a clue about how to use the internet to sell their wares. Quite how a manufacturer like Cirrus, well up on the technology front with their panels and airframe can't get to grips with on-site video to help promote their products is bizarre, to say the least!>Regards,>BobS>Seems the rage to talk about the "size and speed" of each>others computer. April 12, 200422 yr WOW!!!The aircraft and panel look so true-to-life it's incredible!!!The Avidyne PFD looks identical to the one I've seen in the magazine, and from what I've read, the systems including radios etc appear to be modelled with an amazing degree of fidelity. I'm certainly looking forward to the release of this bird! Thanks for the link!!James

April 16, 200422 yr There are updates for FS9 of Guenter Kraener's Cirrus for FS2002. The original can be a bit hard to find. The file name is gkcirr.zip. I just found it today at a German language site. The panel updates were at simviation.BlairCYOW
