2D panels not opening at all

Featured Replies

Hey!

Recently I started to have a problem which doesn't let me to use 2D panels at all. This wouldn't be a problem for me, but it's a bit frustrating if I need to open a pop-up, etc.

So currently every plane, even the default ones, has this problem. When I try to open the 2D panel, or just the simple panel with letter W, it does not open. I can only see a flash of a black box (the size of which the pop-up should be) and then it disappears and nothing happens. I have the same problem with every possible 2D panel and plane I have.

How to solve it?

One simple question:

Did you change anything like gpu drivers or any other?

Never heard of your problem yet.

Hey Word Not Allowed,

Yes I've been updating my GPU drivers (I've got GTX580 like you) to the newest beta, but this was before. I don't think it's because of that.

Thank you anyways!

Ok, then try renaming fsx.cfg, dll and exe xmls to disable addons. Also rename the modules folder temporarily.

That way you take addons out of the picture.

Thanks again Word Not Allowed. I will try that, and if I don't success then I have to do a reinstall.
